Who We Are

Sutter Buttes Garden Club Meetings

  • The SBGC Board Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month a 1 PM with exceptions of July, November, and December, which are "dark months".
  • General membership meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month with exceptions of July, November, and December, which are "dark months".

Morning Meetings are held in the flower building at the Yuba -Sutter  Fairgrounds. Starting at 10:00 AM

Evening Meetings are held in the Ettl Hall (Behind the Sutter County Museum). Starting at 10:00 AM

Local Scholarships From The
Sutter Buttes Garden Club

2024 | 2025

The Sutter Buttes Garden Club awarded three $1,000.00 Scholarships to Amarat Gill, Asher Perla and Brady Amarel This year we also had our first recipient of the Kevin DeHoff The Country Florist Scholarship, Blake Lauppe. He received a $1,000.00 scholarship also.. All four winners attended our yearly General Meeting/Installation potluck luncheon with their family. We all shared the delicious dishes prepared by members and the award winners all shared with our members their plans for the future

The Sutter Buttes Garden Club proudly maintains and enhances key public spaces in the Yuba-Sutter area, including:
The William Conkey Memorial Rose Garden is a serene English Tea Rose Garden perfect for community enjoyment and weddings. The Sutter County Veterans Memorial Garden serves as a tribute to veterans at 1425 Butte House Road. The Yuba Sutter Fair Planters provide charming planters and displays for the annual fair. The Yuba City Fire Department Planters brighten the fire station entrance with two vibrant planters.
